A few weeks ago, I met up with my friend and colleague at UCL, Professor Barry Fuller. I’ve known him for over a decade. He’s an exquisitely lovely chap, who grew up in a pub and ended up a top scientist at UCL.

COMMON KNOWLEDGE FUTURE
It’s almost 6 months since the first Common Knowledge column and I think it’s time to stop publishing something here every week. It’s lovely to have editorial freedom, and I appreciate every single person who reads anything of mine, but such a small Substack as this doesn’t pay the bills and I need time to focus on my next book. Just to say, then, you probably won’t get something in your inbox from me every week for now. But I think of you all with warmth and love! Thanks so much for reading!
